Rolling flames for example could be made into an support gem with the tags Projectile & AoE allowing it to support other skills like Arctic Breath or Ball Lightning, too (way more interesting then being locked to just Fireball). I 'd really wish that GGG would revisit the support gem situation. The thing that makes PoE stand out is customization and the freedom to combine things.
